Well, it looks like Bob is still the pleasant, good-natured egg he was back in 1944 when his driver performed impromptu modifications on Bob’s jeep one cold day...in Belgium I think.

Bob has spent the intervening years with CBS Research designing the new audio technologies which have changed the sounds and sights of America.  We have him to thank for his part in developing the 33 1/3 rpm vinyl record technology which our generation used and enjoyed for so long. Bet you didn’t know that!

And after all his years in the broadcast industry, guess what name he chose for his AOL address?  “Bobcast” Geez...a punster too!!

Uh, by the way, Bob.... why were you looking so happy about the jeep?
