Feb 15, 1944 - Arrived in the 3104th Signal Service Bn. at Camp Wood, NJ. From there, went to Ft. Monmouth again, and then to Camp Edison.

May 14, 1944 - Arrived at Port of Embarkation, Ft. Slocum, NY

May 20, 1944 - Left Ft. Slocum and went by ferry to docks at Hoboken, NJ, where we boarded the Rangitata at 1500.

May 21, 1944 - Left harbor at Hoboken at 0700.

May 31, 1944 - Spotted land for first time at 0820 and passed Isle of Man at 1230.

June 1, 1944 - Arrived in Liverpool Harbor at 1015.

June 2, 1944 - Docked at Mercy Docks at 2000.

June 3, 1944 - Left the ship at 0400 and went by train to Toddington.

July 23, 1944 - Landed on Omaha Beach at 2200 with 3104th. Waded directly onto the beach.

July 25, 1944 - Arrived in Valognes, France, 13 miles from Cherbourg. Set up 15 kw RTT Station there.

Sept 2, 1944 - Went to Rennes, France.

Dec 27, 1944 - Left Rennes and went to Co. C in Paris.

Dec 29, 1944 - Went to Dijon, France.

March 27, 1945 - Arrived in Nancy, France. Set up teletype to Paris.

April 2, 1945 - Arrived in Mannheim, Germany.

April 3, 1945 - Arrived in Sechenheim, Germany. Set up RTT station to Paris.

June 12, 1945 - Left Germany in "40 x 8" for Villacoublay, France, where I was transferred to the 810th Signal Service Bn. in Paris.

June 13, 1945 - Began working in "Block House" as RTT operator. Lived at Hotel D'Iena.

Nov 23, 1945 - Left Paris for processing back home.
