The following two pictures of the Hotel D'Iena were taken 33 years apart by Bob Castrignano. The first was taken in 1945 and the second in 1978. The building remains, but the canopy that was over the front door is gone, and the interior of the hotel has been completely remodelled. It is now an upscale apartment building.

            Note that the pissoir on the corner on the left side of the picture is now gone. Most of them in Paris have been removed.
